Rayne Church is a warm and friendly family of all ages. We welcome those who want to find out more about the Christian faith, those that are members of other Christian denominations and those who wish to join our worship and fellowship. | Our 9:30 am Sunday services are the main focus of our community worship, but we have other activities throughout the week. Crèche facilities available.
| ||||||||
| Different Sundays in each month host different styles of service. | ||||||||

Our Family Service; This usually occurs on the 2nd Sunday in each month. It is a fairly informal service, which often includes drama and our youth band (CYBAR). It is also a parade service attended by parents and members of the organisations linked with Scouting and Guiding. It is an excellent service to bring even very young children and provides an opportunity for families to learn more about the Christian faith together.
|
Our Communion Services; This usually occurs on the 1st and 3rd Sundays in each month. They have a particular focus on remembering Jesus' death and resurrection and the help that he can give us for life today. Each Sunday for the first part of these our young people (ages 3½ to 11) have their own groups, Sunday Fun Club in the Old school room at 9.30 am. (Except the second Sunday of the month when they come to church for the Family Service.) They are split into three groups:~ BUBBLES for the 3½ to 5 years SPLASH for the 5 to 8 year olds and XSTREAM for the 8 to 11 year olds. Contact Lynda and Alan Birch 01376 343048 The children join the service in time to come to the front for a prayer of blessing at the communion rail, whilst others receive the bread and wine.
