Rayne Church is a warm and friendly family of all ages.  We welcome those who want to find out more about the Christian faith, those that are members of other Christian denominations and those who wish to join our worship and fellowship. What are our Sunday services like?

Different Sundays in each month host different styles of service.
Family Service
Our Family Service;
This usually occurs on the 2nd Sunday in each month.  It is a fairly informal service, which often includes drama and our youth band (CYBAR).  It is also a parade service attended by parents and members of the organisations linked with Scouting and Guiding.  It is an excellent service to bring even very young children and provides an opportunity for families to learn more about the Christian faith together.
Communion Our Communion Services;
This usually occurs on the 1st and 3rd Sundays in each month.  They have a particular focus on remembering Jesus' death and resurrection and the help that he can give us for life today.  Each Sunday for the first part of these our young people (ages 3½ to 11) have their own groups, Sunday Fun Club in the Old school room at 9.30 am.   (Except the second Sunday of the month when they come to church for the Family Service.)  They are split into three groups:~
      BUBBLES   for the 3½ to 5 years
      SPLASH     for the 5 to 8 year olds and
      XSTREAM for the 8 to 11 year olds.

The children join the service in time to come to the front for a prayer of blessing at the communion rail, whilst others receive the bread and wine.
Morning Prayer
This usually takes place on the 4th
Sunday of each month (and the fifth
Sunday when applicable).  There is
no communion during this service.
During School term time the
'Sunday Fun Club' meet during the
first part of the service.
Evening Prayer     ~ at Panfield
6:30 pm on 3rd Sunday each month.

SEAS
(Sunday Evenings At Six) Our youth group (aged 11 to 16) meets on the first Sunday each month in the old school room.
Sunday Fun Club will not meet during August.
Any variations in these times will be shown inside the front of the village magazine.
