Rules for Linking and Hosting
At the moment the website is new and operating procedures are still being formulated, never the less there will need to be some terms and conditions applied to those who add pages here.
It is hope in the long run that each organisation, business and those private individuals with an interest in The Web and with moderate computer skills, will all have their own websites, linked so that they can be found from the directories on this website.
It is recognised that some groups will not have easy access to the necessary skills to create and maintain their own websites. For them it is proposed that a simple no frills homepage can be provided on this site (hosted), showing contact details, where they meet, information about activities or calendar for the year and a couple of photographs or drawings.
- The Webmaster will not link to or accept content for the site which may be offensive, illegal, defamatory, or not deemed to be suitable for a community based village website.
- The Webmaster may decline to link to and will not accept content for the site if the group or individual does not have a demonstrable connection to Rayne.
- A current email address must be 'registered' with the Webmaster and for organisations two should be supplied if possible. These are for maintaining contact between the webmaster and organisation and can be kept confidential if required.
- The Webmaster reserves the right to remove a 'broken' link or to remove content if there is no response to emails.
- Whilst reasonable care will be taken, the Webmaster will not be responsible for the accuracy of information on the website or for any errors or omissions however caused. Users with links from or content on raynevillage.info are accepted on that understanding. It is the users responsibility to check that the content is correct and the the link information is current.
