PARKING YOUR CAR

 
  • When away from home always try and park your vehicle in a well-lit location.

  • When parking in a public car park look for one that is well-supervised, with restricted entry and exit points, good lighting and security cameras.

  • Avoid dark corners.

  • Ensure that you lock the doors, windows, boot and sunroof every time that you leave your vehicle, even in your drive or garage.

  • Do not leave items anywhere on show in your vehicle or in the boot.

  • Ensure that you remove everything when you park and leave your vehicle, such as the following:- coats/jackets; handbag; wallet; cheque, credit & debit cards; driving documents & personal correspondance; mobile phones; laptops and suitcases.
