Rambles

Rayne Rambles are run in an informal manner and are kept to a gentle pace so that most can join in.  The length varies between three and five miles, with a break for lunch or refreshments in the longer walks.  Special equipment is not required.  If you don't have walking boots, then a strong pair of shoes or trainers are adequate.  In wet weather wellington boots can be worn, but they may get heavy if the soil is muddy.  However, we all manage.  No formal booking or joining is required ~ just turn up a few minutes before the start and join the group.

Saturday	23rd June	Midsummer Evening walk	Meet at Rayne Station 6 pm pub stop ~ liquid refreshment!
Saturday	1st September	Late Summer Walk ends at pub	Meet at Rayne Station 10:30am car share ~ Pub Lunch
Sunday	28th October	Autumn Walk	Meet at Rayne Station 2 pm
Tuesday	1st January 2013	First Footing Walk	Meet at Rayne Station 2 pm
It is hoped to keep to the above programme but circumstances may occur when it will be necessary to change the date, time or cancel a walk.     Any changes will be notified here.
